DIY: Matte Lip Cream Using Cornstarch

I know what you're thinking, what the hell right? But yes, a do it yourself MATTE LIP CREAM using CORNSTARCH. I searched youtube, the whole internet rather, for any DIY matte lip cream using cornstarch but no human being really came up with this brilliant idea I am sharing today. This DIY doesn't use any matte liquid foundation like what youtubers use in their DIY videos about matte lip creams so you wont waste any of your loving matte foundation and ofcourse money!

Matte Lip Creams are so in trend right now. With brands like nyx and many many more you just can't stop spending all of your money in it. But what if you can make your own matte lip cream without spending that much money? Wouldn't that be nice? With thousands of choices of colors it'll actually make it feel like Christmas everyday. I am so beyond happy to share this DIY with all of you so without further ado, here it is!

You'll need:
• 100% pure Cornstarch
• Food coloring
• Empty container or Lipgloss container

Instruction:

1. First off, start by cleaning your empty lipgloss container or just any other container really well before using them. I suggest for you to use flat containers like empty lip balm containers and not those kind of containers that are tall and narrow. Ofcourse lipgloss containers are the very best kind to choose since there is a built in wand making it easy to put the product  into your lips without messing up your fingers.

2. In your empty container, mix 2 parts of 100% pure cornstarch with 3 parts of food coloring. This is the ratio I am very comfortable with but you can always add more of the cornstarch or more of the food coloring until you reach the texture you're looking for.

Note: Using an empty lipgloss container would be an advantage because the wand will help the mixing process and will decrease chances of messing the product. But if you're using an empty lip balm container, using mixing sticks or even toothpicks will really help.

Make sure to use food coloring not fabric dye or any other products used for coloring in the mixture. The food coloring's color can always be mix-matched with other colors to create your own personalized shade. I made one myself using red food coloring and some violet and brown food coloring then I got something in a shade of plum and it freaking slays.

3. Apply the product to your lips, wait for it to dry then once it dries up rub your lips together then bam, gorgeous matte lips!Yaaasss, work those matte lips, girl.

DIY: 9 Makeup Brush Holders

Makeup brushes are like precious little babies that needs to be taken care of. Makeup brushes should not be dirty, out of reach and crushed by other products. Taking less care of your makeup brushes will end up affecting your skin as well. Sooooo this is why I brought to you these DIY: Makeup brush holders. This DIY makeup brush holder is not just for holding makeup brushes but also for holding lipsticks, makeup pencils, ballpens, mascaras, liquid eyeliners and even palettes! I know many youtubers and bloggers came up with this idea but I have these very unique makeup brush holder ideas using everyday objects.

1.) DIY: Makeup Brush Holder using Raw Pasta

To achieve this DIY you need your container of choice and your uncooked pasta. Your container may be from empty jars, cups, mugs, bowls even pots. Just go for anything that can hold your makeup brushes and your ready to go.  For the pasta, choose soup macaroni kind of pastas. If your using spaghetti pasta make sure to break them into litlle pieces before using them.

2.) DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Salt

Just like the Pasta Makeup Brush holder, pour salt into your designated container and you're done. The kind of salt may vary, you can use uniodized or iodized salt in filling your container. Another trick is to use chalk in giving your makeup brush holder a color. Just rub the colored chalk onto the salt and the chalk will turn into powder, gradually mixing in with the salt. With this type of holder you can do lots and lots of colors and patterns. You can even do an ombre look!

3.) DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Coffee

Yes, Coffee! Hands up for those coffee lovers! So here is an awesome DIY for those coffee lovers out there. Just pour coffee beans into your container of choice and you're done. The coffee you use should have no sugar content so no ants will ruin your beautiful makeup holder. The coffee can be coffee grounds as well, as long as it has no sugar content also. Another fact is that this project will leave that coffee scent awesomeness in your room. So if you love the scent of coffee, this one is for you girl.

4.) DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Raw Rice

This list of makeup holders wouldn't be complete without rice. Just pour raw rice into your container and it'll then be very easy to access your makeups. Rice also has that pleasurable aroma which I love plus it'll keep your makeup clean and dry as well.

5.) DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Marbles

Pick up small marbles on a store and pour it into your container. I suggest clear containers so you'll see the marbles as they do what they do and since marbles are really calming and relaxing to the human body too (in my opinion). Poke in your makeup into the marbles and you're done!

6.) DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Sand

This one is very easy, just pick up some sand on beaches you go to or just buy some sand on stores since their selling sands anyway. Fill in your container with the sand and you're done. Another crazy trick is to dampen the sand and poke your makeup brushes on it then you're ready to go. Ohhh, the summer feels though.

If you want some color in your sand you can always use chalk, food coloring and dye or just buy colored sands since they're also available on stores.

7.) DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Pearls

Just like any makeup holder, pour pearls into your empty container and you're done. Pearls are like marbles that swiftly move around. More like molecules? I guess.

Marbles and pearls have the same effect once you put your brushes into it. The only difference is that pearls are more prettier than marbles so if you're going for a more girly girl look, this is the one to go with.

8.) DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Beads

Just like pearls, beads help store your heavenly products really well. Just pour beads into your empty container and your done. Good thing about this is that you can make shapes, designs and letters with it. This'll be very cute even for kids for storing their pencils and ballpens.

9.) DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Ramen

Last but not the least, DIY Makeup Brush Holder using Ramen! Yes, Ramen! Just crush the ramen inside it's pouch, pour it in your empty container and you're done! Note: please don't put the seasonings in with the DIY holder because we only need the noodles with this project and besides, nobody wants their makeup smelling like ramen.

And that's it for this DIY. I hope you enjoy making all of these makeup brush holders as well as I enjoyed making them too. Please comment down below any suggestions and what makeup brush holder you like the best. Bye bye!

DIY: Easy Lip and Cheek Stain + How to make a pink lip tint out of red food coloring

Lip and cheek stains or tints are essential for queens like us. Stains or tints provide our lips/ cheeks the most natural glowing look using faint hints of colors. Stains or tints are also very helpful in achieving effortless ombre and gradient lips.

What you'll need:
• Red Food Coloring
• Empty Lipgloss Container
• Water
• Flavoring (Optional)
• Jelly powder

Instructions:
In an empty cup mix 1 tablespoon of hot water and 1/2 teaspoon of jelly powder. Make sure the jelly powder is dissolved very well into the water. The color of the jelly powder may either be transparent, white or red but the color doesn't realy matter so you may choose any color available. Next, pour in your red food coloring and your choice of flavor (optional) into the cup and mix until well blended. Lastly, pour in your mixture into the empty lipgloss container, use a funnel or a spoon it really helps the process, and you're done.

Suggestions:

• Pink | Strawberry, Raspberry or Blackberry
Strawberry, Raspberry or Blackberry flavorings can be from real fruits or from processed flavor which are consumable on supermarkets and stores.

• Blue | Bubblegum
Bubblegum flavoring can be from a real bubblegum or from processed flavors which are also consumable on supermarkets and stores.

• Red | Cherry
Cherry Flavoring can also be from a real cherry or from processed flavors which are also consumable on supermarkets and stores.

These are only my suggestions in choosing the food color and flavor combination but there are so many other options to choose from, so choose wisely!

HOW TO MAKE A PINK LIP TINT OUT OF RED FOOD COLORING?

Since pink food colorings are mostly extinct, here is a trick to accomplish those pink lips with the use of red food coloring.

The trick is to add and add more water to the mixture, testing it out until you get that perfect pink shade.

How to Grow your Hair Instantly! A Hair Mask that Truly Works!

Here is another DIY from yours truly. This hair mask helped me ALOT in growing my hair fast. No doubt, super easy, ain't even kidding. I swear my whole life on this, IT WORKS!

* I suggest doing this before you shower.

You'll need:
1 egg
2 tbsp of 100% natural Coconut Oil
2 tbsp of 100% natural Honey
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder

1.) Crack one egg into a small bowl and whisk until fully combined.

2.) Put 2 tbsp of coconut oil and natural honey and 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder onto the scrambled egg. Mix until well combined.

3.) Put the mixture in your hair starting from the scalp till the ends.  Make sure you covered all of your hair with the mask.

4.) Massage your scalp with your hands while your head is upside down.

The chili powder plus massaging your scalp upside down really helps the blood flow making the hair grow faster. (It'll burn at first but you'll get used to it. No pain, no gain, right?)

5.) Leave it in for about 20 minutes. Go take a nice hot bath or shower then after 20 minutes rinse the mask off.

After rinsing you'll notice you've grown your hair instantly with that soft, moisturized feel. You'll thank me.

DIY: The Non-Dry Mascara Eyebrow Tint (2 Kinds)

Ever thought why you don't have such naturally gorgeous looking eyebrows? Why you're not born with such? Well here is a DIY eyebrow tint for those who need some filling on their eyebrows plus it helps our eyebrows to be moisturized and healthy growing as well.

As I am one of those who lack heavenly natural hairs in the eyebrow area, a friend of mine suggested that mascaras are very good in tinting eyebrows naturally. I know everybody can just fill em up with pencils and creams but If you're me, I want to give people the expression that I do have natural, glamorous brows. Another problem is that I go to school early in the morning and I am always freaking late because of these goddamn brows (sorry, I love you, brows). Long story short, I tried some mascara on my eyebrows and I ended up smudging them mascaras on my brows making it hideous. It just won't happen for me. I gave up on it and just searched up how to grow my eyebrow hairs thicker then saw a video about petroleum jelly. I started doing the petroleum jelly thing but it's just so irritating and everything sooooo surprise, surprise I also gave up on it. Time passed, one of my favorite mascaras dried out and thought "hey why don't I just put petroleum jelly on my dried out mascara?"

The first kind of Eyebrow tint

You'll need:
Dried mascara
Petroleum Jelly

All you've got to do is just put some petroleum jelly in your dried mascara then mix them together with your mascara wand. The dried mascara will eventually melt with the petroleum jelly inside as you stir them in your mascara bottle.

The second kind of Eyebrow tint

You'll need:
Empty Mascara
Petroleum Jelly
Eyeshadow of your choice

The only thing you need to do is to mix them petroleum and eyeshadow (I mixed two colors, light brown and gray) into your empty mascara bottle with the mascara wand and you are DONE!

Make sure that you are not allergic to any of the ingredients and that you'll use a funnel so that you won't waste any of those precious eyeshadows. (I used paper as a funnel)

Petroleum Jelly is really good in moisturizing and helping the eyebrows grow thick and crazy. Another beautiful thing about this is that it will never dry up like most mascaras do. The jelly does actually clung so good on hairs that it'll give you those natural looking eyebrows. It is very easy to apply giving you that effortless, natural beauty.
